Mental Health Support
Mental Health Hygiene Kit Program
At Generous Donors of American, we believe that wellness is about more than just the basics—it’s about mental, emotional, and physical health. For many seniors and underserved individuals, everyday necessities like soap, toothpaste, or deodorant are often hard to afford. This can affect not just physical health but also mental well-being and self-esteem.
That’s why we are proud to launch our Mental Health Hygiene Kit Program—an initiative designed to support both dignity and wellness in our community.
Community Challenges
What’s Inside the Kits
Each hygiene kit is carefully assembled with essential personal care items, including:
• Toothbrush and toothpaste
• Soap or body wash
• Shampoo and conditioner
• Lotion
• Deodorant
• Hand sanitizer
• A personal note with mental health encouragementSubscription-Based Giving
We’ve added something extra: a mental health resource card. This card reminds recipients that “Your mental health matters. You are not alone.” It includes crisis hotline numbers and links to local, free mental health support resources.
By combining practical support with mental health awareness, we aim to reduce stigma, promote wellness, and show our community that we care about both physical and emotional health.
Gamifying Donations
Even a small contribution makes a big difference:
• $20 provides a complete hygiene kit for someone in need
• Volunteer to pack kits or help distribute them in the community
• Spread the word on social media and with friends or family
Every kit we deliver is a reminder that someone cares—that no one has to face daily challenges alone.“Your donation restores dignity, supports health, and promotes hope. Together, we can make a real difference in our community.”
